"Tramonti", formerly called "erra Tramonti" by its inhabitants-settlers, takes its name from the configuration of the place where it is located, surrounded, set by mountains lattari, intra montes, land between the mountains. Situated in a beautiful valleys internal dei Monti Lattari, called the green heart of the Amalfi Coast, Tramonti is surrounded by 145 hectares of forest land which is accessed through the Valico di Chiunzi and including the towns of Licinato, Serafina, Vitacchia, Piano of Licina, Licinatiello, Accavello, Francesca, Grottone, Tuoro, Faggetto The Territory, highly uneven, is rich in rivers and springs easily accessible by paths percorribili enough, the river is the main Reghinna Maior that runs along the entire valley to finally arrive in the territory of Maiori and then the sea.
